Taxes, Jobs and Growth

Pennsylvania is dying. Anyone who lives here doesn't need transportation studies to know that more people move out of Pennsylvania every year than move into the state. Study after study indicates that you cannot tax yourself to prosperity but it doesn't seen like Harrisburg will ever figure it out. It's well known that a state's tax policy affects both individual and business decisions on whether or not to move into or stay in a state. It has also been documented that most business relocations are between states, not to a foreign country and that states are in competition for businesses and jobs (Rich States / Poor States: ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitive Index). If you want someone in Harrisburg who will focus on lowering taxes in order to get both jobs and people coming back to Pennsylvania then you should vote for Jim.
